ABOUT
Clergy Team
The clergy of St Saviour's work together to uphold the ministry of the parish.

The Rev. Richard Simpson
DEACON
Richard was ordained into diaconal ministry in 2012. He sits on parish council and has been on the Board of Directors for Discovery House. Richard has a passion for serving marginalized people, a calling that helped him head a team of volunteers at Penticton's Soupateria for 19 years. Richard is known for being gentle, patient and soft spoken. He especially enjoys hospital visiting and pastoral care.
Since January 2024 Richard has been the only active clergy in the parish, providing pastoral care, funerals and presiding and preaching as needed.

The Rev. Pat Simons
DEACON
Pat was ordained into diaconal ministry in 2013 after many years of fellowship at St Saviour's Church. She feels drawn to those who are less fortunate, a calling that has helped her create the Free Store, the Community Meal, as well as supplying furnishings to people who would otherwise not be able to afford it. Pat also provides pastoral care to many in the community.
Pat is currently on Leave.
